3:30 PM - 5:00 PM
In this empowering multi-genre workshop, students will read, write, and explore strategies for developing their own unique, creative voice across the generative landscapes of poetry and fiction. While learning how to develop a regular writing practice, students will also read, share, and compassionately critique each other’s work in a supportive environment as they work to revise their first drafts. By the end of the course, students will leave with polished samples of their completed work. The last class will be dedicated to the celebration of the writing process and include a formal class reading event wherein students may invite friends and family to attend.
